HEZBOLLAH-Made in Iran: Why Iran is Israel's Existential Threat

Nadene Goldfoot
Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah Leader since 1992  Religion seems to have shaped the 46 year old Shiite cleric's life. Nasrallah, who claims to be a descendant of the Muslim prophet Mohammed and whose name means "victory of God," was born in 1960 in Beirut to parents of modest means.

Nasrallah said on June 2, 2000 that "The destruction of Israel and the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem...is the principal objective of Hezbollah."  He was their Secretary General then.  In 2002 he said that  "If the Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide."  He means total genocide, something Hitler was almost successful at. "If we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like the Jew. Notice, I do not say the Israeli. (New Yorker, Oct. 14, 2002)"  He cannot bring himself to even say the word Israel or Israelis.  "Nasrallah also incoroporates anti-Semitic rhetoric in speeches. For example, he has characterized Jews as the "grandsons of apes and pigs" and "Allah's most cowardly and greedy creatures." (MEMRI: Al- Manar, Feb. 3, 2006)

Despite his anti-Semitic invective, there are few references to this in the mainstream media.
Iran, called Persia in history, founded Hezbollah (Party of God)  in 1982 by their new Revolutionary Government run by the Ayatollah.  These Ayatollahs have been spawned by Haman's philosophy of the world.  Their goal is to establish an ISLAMIC STATE (Caliphate)  across the Arab world, eliminate Israel and fight "Western imperialism."

Hezbollah Shi'ite members, established by Iran with Syria's help in southern Lebanon were first in planning their own Caliphate of which IS is just a copycat.   Lebanon has become a state within a state being Hezbollah  had taken over their government.  The difference is that Hezbollah is from Iran and IS is from Iraq.  Does that sound familiar?

Iranian soldier wearing gas mask and carrying MG3 rifle  in 8 year long Gulf War
Is this a continuation of the War in started September 22, 1980 between these two countries when Iraq invaded Iran which we Westerns called the GULF WAR    It lasted almost 8 years till August 20, 1988  and "It followed a long history of border disputes, and was motivated by fears that the Iranian Revolution in 1979 would inspire insurgency among Iraq's long-suppressed Shia majority as well as Iraq's desire to replace Iran as the dominant Persian Gulf state.

Hezbollah, like Haman in the days of the Biblical Queen Esther, want to commit genocide against Jews.

President Ahmadinejad of Iran said on October 26, 2005, "Israel must be wiped off the map...And God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the USA and Zionism.

Khamenei is the man behind the President in Iran, the Ayatollah.  In 2012 he said, "“From now onward, we will support and help any nations, any groups fighting against the Zionist regime across the world, and we are not afraid of declaring this,” Khamenei said during a rare Friday prayer lecture at Tehran University.
“The Zionist regime is a true cancer tumor on this region that should be cut off,” the supreme leader said. “And it definitely will be cut off.”  "Khamenei also said that Israel has become “weakened and isolated” in the Middle East because of the revolutions — he called them “Islamic awakenings” — that have spread through the region."  He's talking about the Arab Spring.  "Iran’s support for the Palestinian militant group Hamas and for Lebanon’s Hezbollah had helped lead to victory in their battles with “the Zionist state,” as he calls Israel.  In 2013 he said the the Zionist regime will disappear from the map.

"Lieutenant Colonel William F. Buckley was born in Medford, Massachusetts on May 30, 1928, beheaded in 1985 at age 57.   Colonel Buckley graduated from high school in 1947 and joined the United States Army."
The USA has been attacked by Hezbollah starting in 1983.  241 US marines were killed by suicide bombers driving a truck.  They bombed the US marine barracks and the embassy in Beirut then.   They beheaded the USA CIA Chief, Lieutenant colonel William Francis Buckley in Beirut.  He had been kidnapped in March 1984.  "The CIA consensus was that he would be blindfolded and chained at the ankles and wrists and kept in a cell little bigger than a coffin."  "Buckley had undergone 15 months of torture by Hezbollah before his death."

Hezbollah  killed more Americans than any other terrorist group until Al Qaeda killed 3,000 Americans.  They started their worldwide terror in 2001.  Israel left southern Lebanon  and its security zone by June 18,  2000, and that's when Hezbollah took over the area and continued terrorism on their northern border.  Israel had created the security zone in answer to the PLO's (Palestinian Arab terrorists) border attacks from Lebanon in the 1970's.

In the summer of 2006, Israel was attacked by surprise by Hezbollah which had turned into an Iranian proxy army  on their northern border and was getting longer-range missiles that could deliver non-conventional weapons.  Hezbollah commandos crossed the border, kidnapped 2 soldiers while killing 8 others.  At the same time they were launching rockets on Israel's northern towns.  This war lasted 34 days, ending with UN resolution 1701 that went into effect August 14th. This aggression was an unprovoked act of war.  UN Resolution 1559 had also called for Hezbollah's disarmament, but was not obeyed, of course.  Hezbollah refused to disarm or free the kidnapped soldiers.  Weapons are flowing from Iran and Syria to this terror group which also destabilizes Lebanon and the region.

Hezbollah and Iran remain Israel's existential threat.  Hezbollah is an Iranian foothold on Israel's northern border and is a most serious threat.

Now ISIS is reported to be in southern Damascus, aiming to get to Israel's border as well.
The official in Israel  said that the statements of the Iranians were "not an aberration," and that Israel was taking the Iranian threat very seriously. "We urge others to do the same," he said. "The Iranians use unequivocal language, and their words speak for themselves."

Iran's Revolutionary Guards (soldiers)

In 2012,  "Brig.- Gen. Gholamreza Jalali, the head of Iran's Passive (civil) Defense Organization and a former commander of the Revolutionary Guards, during a speech ahead of Al-Quds Day, an anti-Israel event initiated by Iran, said that in order to liberate Palestine there was no other option but to destroy Israel." They could care less about the Palestinian Arabs who are Sunnis.  They use this as a rallying call to involve all Muslims to be against Israel.
